EMC Process Company is in the business of solving problems. With nearly 30 years of experience and the finest available coating products, we can recommend the best coating for your specific application. From reducing friction to preventing chemical attack, EMC coating processes enhance ordinary materials, making them perform better and last longer.

Our Processes
EMC began treating parts in 1977 with our EMC-218 Process. Using a superior resin-bonded formulation, the EMC-218 Process dramatically reduces surface friction and greatly increases wearlife.

While the EMC-218 Process continues to find widespread application today, EMC Process Company has developed many additional new processes to answer the specialized needs of our customers. We use an ever-widening range of new fluoropolymers and inorganic dry lubricants which include: polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), fluorinated ethylenepropylene (FEP), polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), perfluoroalkoxy (PFA), ethylene chlorotrifluoroethylene (ECTFE), molybdenum disulfide (MoS2), and various blends with other tough film-formers to produce composite coatings of superior performance. Please refer to our "Standard Products" menu at the top of the page for a description of each of our standard industrial and food grade finishes. You can also search our site using the handy "Search Site" feature.

All processes include proper substrate preparation such as: degreasing, out-gassing, grit blasting, chemical cleaning, etching, and rinsing. Careful application of the coating materials, including controlled drying and curing, is followed by 100% inspection and careful wrapping for shipment.

Our Custom Approach
For best results, we suggest that you submit drawings or samples of your parts along with a thorough description of the desired properties, operating temperatures, and corrosive atmospheres (if any). Our engineers and technicians will study the parts and performance characteristics you require, and prepare a complete recommendation for the best coating material and process to accomplish your objectives. If you can provide us with typical order quantities, we will also submit a full quotation covering price and delivery.

Convenient Service
EMC Process Company is happy to extend our standard payment terms, Net 30 Days, to customers with approved credit. We also accept Visa®, MasterCard®, American Express®, Discover®, Diners Club®, and Carte Blanche® for your convenience.

Convenient ServiceAll return shipments are made F.O.B. factory, Newport, Delaware. Shipments by UPS are prepaid (unless otherwise requested).
